Dear children,
The students of today terrorise the teacher; teachers calculate their monetary rewards and evade fundamental duty to each. They do not examine, their own right to claim reverence. The Upanishad guru sent the student home , after he had completed his studies, with the exhortation; Satyam vada, Dharmam chara; Mathr devo bhava; Pithr devo and Acharya devo bhava! Utter truth, walking the path of righteousness, revere the mother as God, revere the father as God and revere the teacher as God!. But, parents are now treated as obstructionists, troubling the young from the other bank of the generation gap. The mother is a bundle of old-world superstitious and the teacher is a person who can be trived for frightened into granting the students certificates and mark to pass the examination and get their degree. This attitude has to be changed.
Education must impart knowledge, develop skill, and confer balance and implant insight. The student must become the useful member of the society, earning not only his bread, but bread for many in the community. Destructive attitude are prolific in the soil of imbalance; the vibrant energy of youth must be given constructive outlet, so that the balance is set right. Their emotions have to be chastened, not by reading moral texts, but by means of contact, with men of mature mind, integrated personalities, impartial but beneficient servants of mankind. This school bears the name “Gokulam”. So, it has a high responsibility; it stood inspire all schools in this region, to treat little children with love and care and fill the atmosphere with the fragrance of divinity. Words that announced the advent of a new era of truth, virtue, peace and love. Intellect without integrity is destructive and injuries. Politics without principle, education without character, science without humanity and commerce without morality are positively poisonous. Discipline is the most essential equipment for students; the acquisition of discipline should be primary goal of all endeavors. Life is rendered worthwhile and valid, only when it is lived out in disciplined ways. Discipline comes to your rescue, then the world storms around you with a dark flood of hate or derision, or when those in whom you put trust, shun contact and shy afar. Crucify the ego on the cross of compassion preparing yourself by all means for serving others with your specialized skills. When you are engrossed in such work, remove it with your study and hard work. Remove it with your love and respect to others. The love will quieten you. It will comfort you. It will inspire you to merge with the society. Say attention to your duties and responsibilities; do not infect yourself with cast affiliation, or personal prejudices or political predilections. I can see you through and through wherever you are! Do not carry your head high and taunt people. Stoop, so that you can lift the burden on to your shoulders; serve so that you may be an example and inspiration. Follow, so that you can lead seekers into the heart of God. We humble and we cordial with all. Look at a tree! The root, the trunk, the branches, twigs, the bark, the timber, the sap, the leaves, the bud, blossom and fruit, the pith, the seed each has a distinct taste, colour, seal, smell and shine; that you do not deny that they are all from the same seed. It has its separate use and function. So involve in your own duties and responsibilities. If there is beauty in character, there will be harmony in the home; when there is harmony in the home and there will be order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world. So my dear children, be righteous in speak, thought and action. Avoid all prejudices on the basics of caste, creed, colour, status or degree of scholarship or affluence. The tree will grow with branches on all sides. Countless flowers will bloom; it will provide and promote peace and security to the world. In order to realize its results, students must do as its root do: remain firm and provide sustenance. I know that the root have to be watered so that flowers and fruit may emerge, STUDENTS ARE MY ALL. If you ask me, what my property is, many expect the answer to the "Oh! all these buildings; all these vast areas of land". But , my answer is “my entire property consists of my STUDENTS." I have offered myself to them. But many are not aware of this fact. Some unfortunate people cannot believe the reality of this Love; the Love of a thousand mothers. Education is a slow process like the unfolding of a flower, the fragrance becoming deeper and more perceptible with the silent blossoming, petal-by-petal, of the entire flower. So my dear my children, be a beautiful flower, with lingering the fragrance.
Wish you all success
